Oshe-Rono

I'm publishing my work with a small weekly magazine in Bordeaux. It's not much, but it is a start. It gives me a chance to be creative in a way the graphic novel wouldn't permit me otherwise. I had actually forgotten about this site, and obviously my account here. I will be posting my work here soon enough, its mostly stayed in the facebook pages.

Now, I understand we all have a tendency to be influenced by the type of art we see, but I have recently noticed that there is absolutely no creativity in at least 70% of the stuff I see on deviantart.com Sure some of it is very well drawn, but it is so ... generic. And what worries me is that, despite the fact there are very talented people among us (I refuse to include myslf among them, not yet), not many actually use their talents and create something. I grow tired of seeing generic, cookie cutter art. I don't say be radically different, but I do say, experiment, be dynamic! Well enough ranting, back to studying...
